I just got the notification that my postcards were being shipped today...!!! I'm really excited and hoping they will come out nice. I did the artwork myself, then submitted them to an online printing company. My friend Suzanne, got her's there and gave me the name, and since her's came out so nicely, I decided to give it a try myself. Here's the online resolution version of my postcards for the Gathering.
I just got home from the Oakland show, it was fantastic. My sales were great but I also had a lot of fun visiting with old customers and meeting new ones. I just received an email from Kimberly Winston who came to that show and has mentioned me and several other lampworkers in her blog about the show. Be sure to check it out and read what she does with prayer beads.
Heads up..!!! Check out the blog for Kathy Hall, named Sacramento and Beyond. It mentions a quaint store in a small town near my studio that sells my beads as finished jewelry as well as other handmade items. Nancy's Handcrafts is the store. April 6, 08: Just listed this watch this week..!! Click the photo or check the bracelet catagory. There is also a matching set of beads that can be worn with my interchangeable silver jewelry, or made into something to match! I put a lot of TLC into all my work but this set, it was going to be my personal jewelry so it's especially special to me. It just feels so elegant!

Lampworkers Tip of the Week:
Using a rod rest, like the ones sold at Arrow Springs, put a curling iron under the rod rests to warm the metal and keep the tips of your glass rods warm.
